First thing that comes to mind when people think about Augbsurg is without doubt the world famous puppetry and (of course) good beer. But the city in the south of germany has much more to offer and sometimes something you may not expect, like our next BaxxBeatMusic release.

GHHT are truly a new insider's tip in the downbeat scene, if you can even call it downbeat. With their ambitious mixture of Neo Soul, Nu Jazz, Spoken Word and Hip Hop the two soulsisters create an own musical microcosm. All it takes is just a minimal combination of soulful vocals, a Piano and a Drumset – played by the duo rotational – to get out the maximum vibe of their songs. The lyrics of Choria and DissinotRA tell about moments of magic, the love to the music and their close friendship. Their charisma and sublime stage performance fascinates the audience from the start.

Choria und DissinotRA are sharing the stage since more than 10 years. Both come from artistic families and has been teached in singing and dancing since they where kids. Meanwhile they are teachers by themselves and give lessons in singing, songwriting & dancing as well as piano & drum lessons. In their hometown Augsburg GHHT founded the non-profit-making society „Discover Your Talent e. V.“ for young people and they also host competitions for musicans and dancer. With ambitions like that it's just a corollary to aim high and go new ways. In October 2009 GHHT will move to Los Angeles to work on their exceptional skills and talent. A tour through the jazzbars of the metropolis is scheduled.
